Buses will drop off and pick up students on N. Fullerton Avenue, in the front
of the MELA building. If there is a change to your child’s usual
transportation plan, please notify both your child’s teacher and the
MELA Administrative Assistant by email as soon as possible (for example,
if your child will be picked up by a family member, etc.).
If you do not receive confirmation that your transportation change has been received by 2:00 p.m., please contact the MELA Office at 973-509-4208 to ensure the information has been updated.
Students
enrolled in the Mini-Mounties @ MELA program may qualify for
transportation services through the Montclair Public Schools
Transportation Department if their residence is more than two miles from
MELA location or if transportation is included as a related service in
their child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Families
will be notified by the MPS Transportation Department if their child is
eligible for busing services.
